Skin Cupid Brings K-beauty to UK Communities via Summer Roadshow
Skin Cupid, a UK-based K-beauty retailer, is launching a multi-stop summer roadshow across the UK, bringing leading Korean beauty brands to its consumers in Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds, and Birmingham.
Skin Cupid, a UK-based K-beauty retailer, is set to connect with its community through a unique summer roadshow inspired by South Korea's Jeju Island. ## A Journey Through K-beauty The roadshow, which will take place from 28 August to 20 September, aims to bring the Skin Cupid community, referred to as 'Cherubs', offline and create a fun, memorable experience for everyone who attends. The event marks the brand's first physical activation outside of London, with a focus on showcasing leading Korean beauty brands. According to Melody Yuan, founder and CEO of Skin Cupid, the brand views itself as more than just a retail brand. Yuan stated that the community deeply connects with the culture surrounding K-beauty, and the brand wants to create a unique and immersive experience for its consumers. ## Expanding Physical Presence Beyond London With over 80% of its UK community based outside of London, expanding the brand's physical presence beyond the capital was a top priority for Skin Cupid. The roadshow aims to bring a uniquely immersive Skin Cupid experience directly to its community outside of London, giving them the chance to discover, test, and take home some of the brand's favourite Korean beauty brands in person. ## A Line-up of K-beauty Brands Six brands will take part in the pop-up experience across the UK: Anua, Purito, Dear Klairs, Manyo, Mixsoon, and Kundal. These brands were selected because they are 'staple favourites' among Skin Cupid's community, explains Yuan. The line-up represents the full spectrum of Korean skin care, offering a complete and thoughtful narrative. ## A Transportive Experience The consumer experience at the pop-up is designed to be a 'transportive' experience, with a focus on product discovery. The highlight of the entrance is picking up a limited edition summer tote packed with goodies, which is available for £15. The roadshow promises to be a unique and memorable experience for all who attend, and tickets are now available for the event.
