OGX launches OGXperience platform
OGX has introduced the OGXperience megabrand platform, which focuses on early signals of hair care product performance rather than relying on before-and-after visuals.

OGX's New Approach to Hair Care
OGX has launched OGXperience, a new megabrand platform that highlights the signals indicating how hair care products are working before a visual change is seen. The initiative moves away from traditional before-and-after imagery, offering an in-depth look at the science and sensory aspects of hair health transformations.
The Science Behind the Signals
Siddhi Sheth, Head of OGX Commercial and Innovation in the US, told Cosmetics Business that "Hair care marketing has spent decades chasing the reveal, that big dramatic flip of the hair when the style is done." Sheth added that the real transformation starts before the end result, with how you feel. "In the shower, when you feel the slip in your hair, you know it is working. When the right fragrance connects with the right texture, you know it is working," she said. OGXperience is not anti-reveal; it is a call to reflect on the repair experience at every step and not just something you evaluate at the end.
Consumer Experience and Sensory Cues
The platform encourages consumers to notice the texture, scent, and sound of their routine. When a product’s texture feels smooth, its fragrance lingers after rinsing, and the spray pattern produces a satisfying sound, these are all signs that repair is underway. Sheth explained that the idea was born from a tension in most people’s hair care routines. Consumers know their routine better than anyone, but that familiarity can become a chore. OGX’s new approach invites a collective pause, revisiting iconic innovations and noticing how texture, scent, spray patterns, and sound break the mundane routine and give a repair experience that is truly unique and exciting.
