Fall-Winter 2026 Trend Forecast
For the Autumn-Winter 2026 season, Meiyume has pinpointed three trends it believes will shape the cosmetics market. The company is developing a new generation of turnkey concepts based on these trends for presentation to partners in November.
The first trend is longevity inspired by K-Beauty. This high-end skincare concept draws from Korean beauty through the lens of Western clinical medicine. It translates the logic of barrier-focused care and biotechnological actives into sensory textures and longevity-focused formulas. Meiyume states this approach aims to strengthen K-Beauty's influence with a more demanding clientele. The concept supports the skin's natural resilience and repair. "The future of high-end care lies in an approach focused on the skin barrier, biotechnological actives, and a systemic approach: the logic of Korean care applied to the demands of Western clinical medicine," the company emphasized.
The Skinification of Color
The second major trend is the skinification of color. This concept treats makeup as a vector for skin benefits rather than a simple veil. It combines long-wear actives with multi-sensory textures for primer, complexion, and lips. Meiyume asserts that color must now blend with the skin, not only cover it.
Alcohol-Free Fragrance Reimagined
The third trend involves reinventing fragrance. This concept brings together a collection of alcohol-free perfumes in sensory formats. It associates skincare technologies with fragrance to create olfactory experiences designed for long wear and modern, trendy beauty rituals. "Fragrance is evolving towards personalized daily rituals, combining alcohol-free formats and skincare," the company indicated.
Each formula developed for these Fall-Winter 2026 concepts is paired with one or more packaging solutions. These are developed in-house by Meiyume or in collaboration with industrial partners. The complete formulas, packaging, and names for the Autumn-Winter 2026 collection will be finalized ahead of the November presentation.
