Pure Trade Designs Collectible Bag Charms
Pure Trade designed two limited-edition lipstick-holder bag charms for Guerlain, turning promotional items into lasting luxury accessories.

Pure Trade has unveiled two new lipstick-holder accessories for Guerlain's KissKiss line. The Paris-based luxury packaging specialist designed the pieces as collectible bag charms to transform traditional gifts into permanent objects.
Both creations are crafted from recycled materials. They incorporate Guerlain's signature bee motif and other house codes directly into the accessory designs.
From Influencer Gifting to Social Feeds
The first accessory is intended for influencer gifting. It features an openwork golden case that holds a lipstick. Four separate charms dangle from the case. The leading charm showcases Guerlain's signature lips motif.
These charms are made from recycled zamak. They are gold-electroplated and coloured with epoxy. Workers assemble the connecting rings by hand. Pure Trade built this piece to travel. It moves from hand to handbag to social media feeds.
A Sustainable Gift-with-Purchase
The second piece will serve as a gift-with-purchase. It is a slim, rectangular pouch for a lipstick. The pouch has a supple red finish.
Pure Trade chose an RPET material instead of conventional coated leatherette. The company engineered this material to mimic the look and feel of PU and suede both inside and out. This maintains the Maison's tactile standards. A debossed Guerlain bee, gilded hardware, and a zamak carabiner complete the design.
Two enamelled charms also adorn this piece. One is a miniature lipstick. The other is the KissKiss lips symbol.
Materials and Design Codes
The project highlights a shift in promotional strategy. Both pieces prove a gift can carry a luxury house's identity as fully as its primary packaging. They bring Guerlain's iconic bee into the accessory itself.
Reimagining the Promotional Object
Pure Trade's work recasts the temporary gift as a keep-forever object. The company stated the goal was to create a collectible. This approach elevates the perceived value of promotional items.
The designs focus on tactile quality and durable construction. Using recycled zamak and RPET aligns with broader sustainability trends in luxury. The hand-assembled elements add an artisanal touch.
Guerlain's bee and lips motifs transition from packaging to personal accessory. The final objects are designed for daily use and display. They are meant to last well beyond a single promotional season.
