Westman Atelier EMEA GM Anna Marcovici Steps Down After Six-and-a-Half Years
Anna Marcovici, General Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Westman Atelier, is leaving the luxury beauty brand after six-and-a-half years. She played a key role in expanding the brand across the region, including opening 18 markets during the pandemic. Marcovici previously founded Manifesto and FaceGym and held leadership positions at NARS, MAC Cosmetics, and Clinique. Her departure follows Westman Atelier securing $15 million in new funding earlier this year.

Anna Marcovici, the General Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) at Westman Atelier, is stepping down from her role after six-and-a-half years with the US-based luxury beauty brand. Marcovici joined the company in March 2020, just as the Covid-19 pandemic began, and was instrumental in scaling the brand across the EMEA region.
Before her tenure at Westman Atelier, Marcovici founded Manifesto, an edible beauty supplement brand, and ran Impact Beauty, a consultancy focused on brand strategy and positioning. She also served as CEO of FaceGym, a fitness studio and skincare brand hybrid founded by former beauty columnist Inge Theron.
Marcovici’s career includes other high-profile leadership roles, such as General Manager for the UK and Ireland at NARS, Regional Director for EMEA Travel Retail at MAC Cosmetics, and National Account Manager at Clinique.
## A Transformative Tenure at Westman Atelier
In a LinkedIn post, Marcovici reflected on her time at Westman Atelier, noting that her first week coincided with the start of the Covid-19 lockdown in March 2020. Despite initial concerns about launching a luxury makeup brand during a global crisis, the company expanded rapidly, opening eight markets by the end of 2020 and another ten the following year.
Marcovici expressed gratitude for the opportunity to build the EMEA team and distribution network from the ground up, calling it an "incredibly rewarding journey." She also praised the brand’s founders, Gucci Westman and her husband, fashion entrepreneur David Neville, as well as the global Westman Atelier team, describing her experience as the highlight of her career.
## Funding and Future Growth
Marcovici’s departure follows Westman Atelier’s recent funding success. In April 2026, the brand secured $15 million in fresh investment, bringing its total funding to $36.9 million, according to market data from Pitchbook. The funding round was disclosed in a February filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
The brand’s continued growth and expansion under new leadership will be closely watched as it builds on its recent achievements.
