London Fashion Week SS27 Off-Schedule Shows Announced
Dazed details six independent designer presentations happening outside the official BFC calendar for London Fashion Week SS27, including debuts from R&M

London Fashion Week for the Spring/Summer 2027 season is underway, with a slate of independent shows happening off the official British Fashion Council schedule. These presentations are promoted directly to followers and represent some of the city's most buzzed-about new talent.
Emerging Designers Take the Stage
Central Saint Martins graduate Kai Ghattaura is hosting an off-schedule show with his partner, Fin Forsyth. Ghattaura, whose work is described as "postmodern ragebait clothing," draws inspiration from internet lore and video games. He teased the event by saying, "Come and play with us."
Ellen Poppy Hill, a south London-based designer, will present her third collection titled 'Sharpen Up Your Act!'. She shows only once a year, and her inspiration for SS27 appears to be drawn from pencil shavings, based on her social media posts.
Cult Favorites and Studio Visits
Cult leather label R&M Leathers, founded by Ruby Mariani in 2018, will host its debut runway show. The event, titled 'MISS LEATHERS', is a collaboration with Pornhub and takes place in east London.
Saudi designer Layal Balubaid, currently studying for her MA at Central Saint Martins, is opening her London studio for visits during fashion week. "Want to see my pieces up close? Try things on? Be nosy? Bring me a present? Now you can!" she said.
Intimate Presentations and Retail Takeovers
Greek designer George Trochopoulos, known for a viral mussel-shell bolero, is hosting an intimate off-schedule show in Fitzrovia. He counts SZA and Solange among his fans and stated, "The past few years I have been getting to know my girl. I hope this season I can give you a proper introduction to her."
Footwear brand Lili Curia, founded just last year, is taking over Dover Street Market on Saturday morning. The event will feature an intimate reading with model Tali Lennox, offering a respite from the typical fashion week chaos.
The off-schedule activities complement a main schedule that includes Alexander McQueen's return to London and Christopher Kane's debut at Mulberry.
